Sono state annunciate ieri le nomination ai Golden Globe, i premi per cinema e serie tv che vengono assegnati ogni anno dall’associazione americana Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). La cerimonia di premiazione si svolgerà la notte fra il 10 e l’11 gennaio (italiane, in presenza sarà semplicemente la notte di martedì 10) presso il Beverly Hilton Hotel di Beverly Hills, a Los Angeles. A condurre ci sarà il regista e attore comico americano Jerrod Carmichael, e sarà nuovamente trasmessa in televisione!
Lo scorso anno, infatti, la NBC, il canale che ha sempre trasmesso la diretta televisiva dei Golden Globe, ha scelto di non mandare in onda la cerimonia per protestare nei confronti della mancanza di diversità, poiché fino al 2021 sugli 89 membri non c’era nessun giornalista nero. Alla cerimonia, per questo, erano presenti solo circa 200 persone, tutte vicine all’Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) e associazioni di beneficenza supportate dall’organizzazione.
Sempre lo scorso anno, durante le premiazioni dei Golden Globe non ci sono stati tappeti rossi, attori, attrici, registi e registe, né per vincere un premio né per annunciarlo. Non sono neanche stati trasmessi in tv e in streaming. A presentare c’era la giornalista tedesca Helen Hoehne, da qualche mese presidente della HFPA, che ha parlato di come e quanto l’organizzazione stia cercando di migliorarsi, evidenziando le sue attività filantropiche e ricordando che la sua unicità sta nell’avere membri provenienti da oltre 50 paesi diversi.
I vincitori sono stati annunciati, pensate un po’, con dei tweet, delle emoji e qualche informazioni. Il New York Times li ha descritti come «tweet costellati di emoji e pessime battute, con scarse informazioni su chi aveva ricevuto i premi». Ma per i Golden Globe 2023, tutto torna normale, per cui… Vediamo insieme le nomination di quest’anno!
